Keep Firework Celebrations Safe And Crack Down On Abusers Says Susan Kramer4.18.00am BST (GMT +0100) Tue 26th Oct 2004 New anti-social behaviour orders should be strongly enforced to stop fireworks becoming a danger to the public says Susan Kramer, Liberal Democrat Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Richmond Park. "The £80 fines for people throwing bangers and other fireworks in the street are to come into force for this year's Bonfire night and the many nights that fireworks seem to be let off, said Ms. Kramer. "We should all be able to enjoy this annual occasion without fear or intimidation from those who show a reckless attitude to other's well being. "In the spirit of Lavinia's Law we must ensure that fireworks do not become a weapon or a public danger. "I hope we can ensure a safe and happy Bonfire Night in Richmond and Kingston."
