Brown Must Not Let Londoners Down In Spending Review

Commenting ahead of today's Comprehensive Spending Review, Simon Hughes MP, Liberal Democrat spokesman for London, said: "For Londoners, this will be a good Comprehensive Spending Review if both Crossrail and the East London Line extension get the green light.

"If these are not announced today then Londoners will have good reason to complain they've been let down again by Labour, and by Mr Brown."
